At Kanaka School of Law, various student-led committees and cells play an integral role in shaping well-rounded legal professionals. These bodies foster leadership, social responsibility, advocacy skills, and physical well-being. Each committee operates with a focused purpose, contributing to the academic and personal growth of our students.
The Moot Court Committee trains students in courtroom etiquette, advocacy, legal research, and argumentation. It organizes internal moot competitions and encourages participation in state and national level moot court events to build confidence and real-world skills.
The Mediation Cell introduces students to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms with a focus on peaceful conflict resolution. It conducts workshops, simulation exercises, and seminars in collaboration with legal experts and mediators.
The Sports Cell promotes physical fitness and team spirit through a range of indoor and outdoor games. It organizes annual sports events and encourages participation in university and inter-college tournaments to ensure holistic development.
The HR Cell creates awareness of constitutional rights and social justice. It hosts talks, street plays, and campaigns focused on current human rights issues, equipping students to become responsible and empathetic legal professionals.
The NSS (National Service Scheme) Cell is dedicated to community service, social welfare, and civic responsibility. It regularly conducts cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, legal awareness programs, and rural outreach initiatives.
